- Dual input power
The Bantam e-Station (BC6) BC-6 can be operated
with AC or DC power. For AC power, a built in a AC-DC switching power supplier which has 5
Amps of power capacity and maximum output power of 50Watts for charging. As a result it
can charge up to 16 cells of NiCd/NiMH and 6S of Lithium batteries with maximum current of
5.0A.
- Individual voltage balancer for
Lithium batteries buit in
The BC-6 has an individual-cell-voltage balancer
built in. So it does not need an external balancer when charging Lithium batteries
(LiIo/LiPo/LiFe) for cell balancing.
Balance individual cells on discharge
The BC-6 also can monitor and balance individual
cells on Lithium batteries during the discharge process. If the voltage of any one cell
varies abnormally, the process will be stopped with an error message.
- Accept various types of Lithium
chemistries
The BC-6 can accept three types of Lithium batteries -
LiIo, LiPo and LiFe. They have different characteristics by their chemistry.
- Lithium battery 'Fast' and 'Storage' mode
'Fast' charge reduces the charging time of Lithium batteries and 'Storage mode controls the final voltage of the battery
for long time storage.
- Data store/load
Up to 5 data memories.
Each memory can be recalled at any time you need without reprogramming.
- Cyclic
charging/discharging
Perform 1 to 5 cycles of
charge>discharge or discharge>charge continually for battery refreshing and
balancing.
- PC based analysis using
USB communication
For the advanced user, the
BC-6 offers a FREEl PC based program that can analysis the characteristic of the battery
through the USB port. Part # EAC400
is required. It shows a graph of voltage, current, capacity and temperature curves. It
also shows the individual voltage of each cell in the Lithium battery pack.

High-quality aluminum case is
durable and very efficient to cool out the internal heat
